She and Bard were shareholders in the charter firm of which her husband was president. Mrs. Lema, the former Betty Cline, was a stewardess for American Airlines based in Dallas, Tex., when she met Tony. They were married three years ago. She formerly lived in Oklahoma City, Okla. Lema, a native of Oakland, Calif., turned pro in 1955. He won many of the top tournaments, including the 1964 British Open which qualified him for the World Series of Golf Classic in which he beat Ken Venturi, Nicklaus and Arnold Palmer to pocket $50,000. HIS BEST money year was 1965 when his official earnings reached $101,816.62, second to Nicklaus. Through 1965, he had won 12 tour titles, eight in official PGA events. Lema started golf as a teenager, winning Oakland cham pionships before joining the Marines in 1952. He took up full time pro golf in 1957. His last victory was in the Oklahoma Open last May.
