Earl Pruess FORSYTH - Graveside services for Earl H. Pruess, 84. Forsyth, will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Irving Park Boulevard Cemetery, Chicago, Ill. Milltary rites will be performed by the American Legion. Local arrangements are under direction of Whelchel of Branson. Mr. Pruess died Tuesday evening at Skaggs Community Hospital. Branson, after brief illness. He retired from Illinois Bell Telephone Co. in Glen Ellyn, IlL.. and moved to Forsyth in 1959. He was member of the American Legion. the Forty and Eight, and the Western Society of Engineers. He co-founded the Central Officials Association. Survivors include his wife, Ethelwynne: one son. Earl, St. Joseph, Mich.: one daughter, Mrs. Elvin Larson, Adel. Iowa; one sister. Mrs. Charles Frogner. Pynette, Wisconson: two brothers. Albert. Scottsdale, Ariz., Elmer, Rockford, Ill.; and five grandchildren. Memorial contributions may be made to the Forsyth Public Library building fund.
