obituaries RIVERA, Fr. Reynaldo, O.F.M. 57- Born October 29, 1924 in Santa Fe died last week. He received his early education in Santa Fe at St. Francis and St. Michaels, graduated from High School at the St. Francis Seminary in Cincinnati, Ohio, was then graduated from college at Duns Scotus College in Southfiled, MI. and Holy Family Theology School in Oldenburg, Ind. He was ordianed a Franciscan Priest on June 12, 1953 and had spent his life devoted to the people of New Mexico in the following Parishes; Parkview 1953-56, St. John's in Roswell 1956-57, Sacred Heart in Farminton 1957-58, St. Francis in Gallup 195860, Jemez Pueblo 1960-62, Blanco 1963-67, Guadalupe in Clovis 1967-75, St. Francis Cathedral 1975-82. He was named in 1976 as Guardian of the Friary. He is survived by his mother Refugito Ortiz Rivera, brother Fred Rivera of Tucumcari, sisters Nickie Drosten of Calif, Colombia, Isabel Abeyta of Santa Fe, Ernestine Wright of Jacksonville, Fla., Frances Mojundro of Memphis, Tenn., Josephine McClenithan of Clearwater, Fla, and aunt Sister Mary Rosario S.L. and many other relatives. Wake Services will be held tonight at St. Francis Cathedral at 7:00. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at St. Francis Cathedral with interment to follow at Rosario Cemetery. In keeping with Franciscan tradition, we ask that no flowers be sent. In lieu of flowers, dentations. can be made to the St. Vincent DePaul Society, and organization to which Fr.
