ADVISORY BOARD PASSES ON JOBS The Advisory Board of the State Engineering Department met in the Governor's office at Capitol yesterday and confirmed the appointment of eleven persons to positions in the department by State Engineer Ellery, These positions are all statutory, having been created as such by a revision of law founding the department by the last Legislature. The favored ones are the following, nearly all of whom have been attached to the department since its Inception: H. S. Morrow, secretary; E. D. Griffith, testing engineer; F. P. Walsh, mechanical engineer: J. J. McCarthy, pressman; Charles Prince, messenger; G. H. Nichols and Charles Johnston, fl1ing clerks: William D. Coater, Jr.. State architect: Maury Diggs, architeotural designer; G. E. S. Barnes and A. M. Dudley, stenographers, There are still two architectural draughtsmen to be appointed.
