Will Demolish O.E.R. Rockeliffe Car Barns The Rockcliffe car barns of the Ottawa Electric Railway, substantial brick barns just north of Princess Louise avenue, are to be demolished according to David Gill, general manager of the company. Demolition will start tomorrow. The contract for the work has been let to Baker Brothers. Part the barns was destroyed some years ago when fire swept through the building. Subsequently the remaining barns were used for storage space. It has long been felt that the barns constituted somewhat of an eyesore anal in order to co-operate with the Federal District Commission the O.E.R. has decided to remove them. Equipment which has been stored in the barns will be moved to other buildings owned by the O.E.R.
