ASSERTS CORD WAS LIKE ONE ON MOTOR BOAT Frederic L Small Gets - Hearing on Murder Charge at Mountain View Today Mountain View, N. H., Oct. 6. Whether Frederic L. Small,, a former Boston bank broker, is to be held pending grand jury investigation of the murder of his wife, Mrs. Florence A. Small, who was beaten, shot and strangled to death at her home which was burned to conceal evidence of the crime on Sept. 28, or released from the charge of murder was the issue of a hearing in the district court here today. The prosecution prior to the afternoon recess had introduced testimony from T. E. Connors, who testified that the cord used to strangle Mrs. Small was similar to the one which was formerly attached to Small's motor boat which has since been found missing.
