Henry Gallagher Dies; Once Chief of High Court WASECA, Minn. - (AP) Henry M. Gallagher, 79, former chief justice of the Minnesota Supreme Court died at his home in Waseca today. Justice Gallagher suffered a series of strokes, the first in late 1963, and had been bedridden about a year. He was appointed chief justice of the supreme court by Gov. Elmer N. Benson in 1937 and resigned in the early 1940s during his first elected term. He was a brother of Frank T. Gallagher, retired supreme court associate justice now serving as commissioner with the high court. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Waseca.
