Maier testified in ob taining a divorce in Circuit Court. A fur coat given as a Christmas present was the gift involved. Judge Emory H. Niles signed the decree divorcing Mrs. Maier from Bernard P. Maier on grounds of misconduct. In telling of their separation last January, the wife said: "He gave me a fur coat for Christmas, and after, we had an argument he took it away . m me and returned it to the store." : Mrs. Maier also related that once, when she found a coupon given her husband by a sidewalk pho tographer, she mailed in the stub and was astonished to find that the pohtograph showed her husband walking with young woman.
