Mrs. Sinclair Lewis Expelled From Germany To Visit Sarr Region, But "Would Rather Be in Vermont" GERMANY "HYGIENIC PRISON," SHE SAYS Author Declares Hitler No Longer a Man But a Religion Paris, Aug 27, (A.P.) - Mrs. Sinclair Lewis--who as Dorothy, Thompson, newspaper woman, was asked to leave Germany is going to Saarbruecken Thursday to find out what is going on in the S Saar region. She said today she "would rather in Vermont" but that she is planning to spend several days in Saarbruecken, then go to London and sail for home. Sept. 9 on the Leviathan.
