Olenchuk was like trying to spot the proverbial needle in the haystack at this plush summer resort as swarms of tourists, up to 20,000 moved into the area Thursday. The pretty little red haired 13-year-old daughter of Brig Gen. and Mrs. Peter Olenchuk was last seen Sunday at 5 p.m. outside the Lookout Hotel, about 200 yards from her home, talking to a man in a maroon car. A woman witness on the third floor of the hotel said that when she looked again the freckle faced girl was in the car. Police later found her black Hercules English racing bicycle with wire saddlebag holders propped underneath the arch of the hotel which overlooks the rolling surf on Ogunquit Beach. The Olenchuk girl, who weighs 80 pounds, was reported to have left the beach before her family at about 4 p.m. Sunday and to have changed her clothes. No one saw her take her bicycle, police said, but she had a standing agreement to pick up the bike from neighbors. About 4:30 p.m., guests at the Marginal Way House, who knew Missing Boy Safe In N.H. Woodland PASSACONAWAY, N.H. (UPI) A 12-year-old boy missing for a week on rocky Mt. Passa-conaway was found safe and in good condition Thursday. Search officials said the boy survived by eating berries and drinking a lot of water. He told his finders he had prayed every night. Daniel Crowley of Bostons ' Dorchester section was found about 150 feet off the Oliverian Brook trail in dense undergrowth by two searchers who heard him whimper as they passed A spokesman for the White Mountain Forest Service, which coordinated the search, said the lads clothing was intact when he was found and he walked out of the woods with his finders. He said he ate berries but primarily drank water, the spokesman said, and he prayed every night The boy was the subject of an intensive search by up to 200 national guardsmen, volunteers her, saw her as she passed by and waved to her. She was reported missing at 7 p.m. At 11 p.m. the same evening, police found her bicycle under the arch at the hotel and in the wire saddlebag holders they found her draw-string type shoulder bag containing a package of gum. She had earlier told her folks that she wanted to get some gum. Makes No Comment Brig. Gen. Olenchuk appeared briefly at the front door of his spacious suihmer home Thursday afternoon to tell reporters that he had no comment to make and he was cooperating with the attorney generals department and the police. The short, pleasant, bespectacled man would not pose for pictures, but told a photographer that he could take as many pictures' as he wished of the house. (See Page Seven). He is commanding officer of the Army Ammunition Supply Agency in Joliet, 111. He had arrived here from Maryland after learning of his daughters disappearance. Continues Search In the meantime, a helicopter crew from Ft. Devens, Mass., continued its two-day aerial scearch of the area in close liaison with police officers on the ground. The helicopter reported on deserted buildings and suspicious vehicles in the area when the aircraft was unable to go down. (Continued on Page 2, Col. 5)
