Accused stabber to arrive in Maine KENNEBUNKPORT (AP) -Dean A Curtis who is accused of stabbing to death a friend a the beach In Kennebunkport was scheduled to be brought to Maine today from the state of Washington Curtis 24 is to be arraigned Monday on a murder charge in Biddeford District Court He is accused of killing David J Nixon 30 of Naugatuck Conn June 9 a Goose Rocks Beach Authorities apprehended Curtis In Washington after he had attempted to flee from UA customs officials as -he crossed into the United States from Canada a July 14 Curtis also is charged with murder in the July 5 stabbing drath of Steva R Johnson 35 a UJS customs inspector who lived in Mississeuga Ontario Authorities said Curtis was driving Johnson's car and had Nixon's credit card in hit possession wha he was arrested in Washington ' Curtis who was born in Kittery and raised in Bangor lived in Ogunquit for about three weeks before Nixon’s death Nixon was from Naugatuck Conn and his family had a home in Kenne ROAST PRIME RIB OF BEEF bunkport The two reportedly had met this summer and police raid friends and relatives bad told them the two were lovers Maine state police allege that Curtis stole Nixon’s car and credit cards after the killing Someone fitting Curtis’ description was repported to have used the cards in Florida sora after Nixon's death
