Weddings SCRIVENER--LAKE at the home of Mr. Walter Palmer, A quiet marriage was, solemnized Tisdale, on Monday evening, January 7, when Miss Cecily Annie Lake, of Carlea, and Henry Francis Scrivener, also of Carlea, were united in marriage, the ceremony being performed by the rector of St. Matthew's Anglican church, the Rev. R. K. Sampson. The bride and groom were unattended, Mr. Mrs. Palmer signing the register as witnesses. Miss Lake, who is the eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ingram Lake of Asquith, Sask., has been the teacher at the Carlea school for the past, year son and of a Mr. half. Mr. Scrivener Francis Scrivener of Wiltshire, England. Mr. and Mrs. Scrivener returned to their home at Carlea on Tuesday morning by motor.
