kins, 77, died at 4:30 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 22, 1995, in Friendship Care Center in Herrin. Services will be at 9 a.m. today at Van Natta Funeral Home in Herrin. The Rev. Bill Sanders and the Rev. Lee Lovett will officiate. Graveside services will be at 4 p.m. today at Kankakee Memorial Gardens in Kankakee, with the Rev. J.C. Reedy officiating. Memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church building fund. Mr. Hoskins was a retired transportation specialist and a member of Teamsters Local 705 in Kankakee. He was a member of College Church of the Nazarene at Bourbonnais. He attended First United Methodist Church in Herrin. He was a member of the Herrin Garden Club and Civilian Conservation Corps. He was born May 29, 1918, near London, Ky., to Charles and Martha (Tankersley) Hoskins. On Aug. 17, 1940, he was united in marriage to Grace Allison. He is survived by his wife; one son and one daughter-in-law, Floyd L. and Emma Janes Hoskins of Bossier City, La.; one daughter-in-law, Sue Hoskins of Bourbonnais; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; three brothers, Vernon F. Hoskins of Bloomington, Ind., Arthur Hoskins of Salem, Ind., and Paul Hoskins of Mitchell, Ind.; and one sister, Thelma Barnes of Hanover, Ind.
