Red Brick Tavern To Open Tonight The Red Brick tavern, 629 Oakland avenue, of which Fanchea Newsom is owner and hostess, will have its official opening tonight with a dinner followed by bridge. The tavern opens into a large living room and dining room seating 106 guests, while the bridge room upstairs has 30 tables. In addition there are numerous individual bridge party rooms. At the conclusion of the this evening many of the parties in attendance will .adjourn to the lounge and bridge rooms. The tavern has booked for this month several bridal bridge parties. a bridal breakfast, fraternal club gathering, a wedding party and other social gatherings.
