On motion of Superintendent Camp bell, the Board resolved itself into Com mittee of the Whole for the purpose of considering the matter of the principal- ship of the Cosmopolitan school, it appearing that a vacancy .existed by reason of the absconding of Professor Augustus D Champion, late Principal, who is supposed to have gone to Mexico. In time the committee rose and re ported in favor of declaring the position of Principal of the Cosmopolitan school vacant. Report adopted.
