0'Heren DECATUR - Beulah V. O'Heren, 98, formerly of Louisiana, Mo., and Decatur, died 10 a.m. Wednesday (Feb. 21, 1996) in Blessing Hospital, Quincy. Services will be 9:30 a.m. Friday in Duker & Haugh Funeral Home, Quincy, and 10 a.m. Friday in St. Francis Catholic Church, Quincy. Visitation will be 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home with 6 p.m. prayer service and Friday until time of services. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Quincy. Memorials: St. Francis Church, Quincy, or the School Sisters of Notre Dame Retirement Fund. She was born March 14, 1897, in Maroa, the daughter of S.R. and Pearl Rau Nowlin. She married W. Harry O'Heren in April 1923 in St. Patrick Catholic Church in Decatur. He died in April 1975. Mrs. O'Heren was a bookkeeper at O'Heren's Radiator Shop from 1940 until her retirement in 1965. She was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church, Quincy. Surviving are her sons, Charles of Dayton, Ohio; John of Louisiana, Mo.; daughters, Sister Helen O'Heren of Chatawa, Miss.; Joan Carlyle of Quincy; Rosemary Westfallen of Chicago; Patricia O'Conner of Dayton, Ohio; 16 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers, Carroll, Irwin and John Nowlin; sister, Lucille Renner and a grandson, Mark Carlyle.
