Sierra tonight DEATHS Mary Stevens Services were held last week for San Benito County native Mary Stevens, who died last Wednesday at 79. A Rosary was conducted last Thursday at Black-Cooper-Sander Funeral Home by the Rev. Porfirio Martinez of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Mass was celebrated by the Rev. Michael Miller Friday morning at Sacred Heart Church. • Pallbearers were J. Patrick Stevens, Morris Stevens, John P. Silva, James P. Silva, Richard Scagliotti and Joe Scagliotti. Salinas hospital Sunday at the, d * FAR A native of Mexico, Mrs. Felix spent most of her life i in sided Hollister. She had lived the last two years in Salinas and rein Gilroy for eight years. She was a member of the Catholic Church, the Teamsters Union and the Catholic Daughters of America. Mrs. Felix was employed by local canneries most of her life. Prior to her retirement, she worked with Tri Valley Growers in Hollister. Mrs. Felix is survived by daughter Marian Martinez of Rita Salinas; son John Felix of Salinas; sisters Jennie Solorio, Garcia and Tillie Galvan, all of Hollister, and Gloria Flores of Gilroy; brothers Joe Cota and Jesse Cota of Hollister David and and Nato Cota of San Jose; and three grandchildren, F Tim Martinez and Ryan Felix, all of Salinas. A Rosary will be said at 7:30 this evening at Black-Coo per-Sander Funeral Home in Hollister.
