If you think you're God Then God would have taken the poor Into account but you sons have your click to take care of don't you?" said the motion filed on behalf of the beneral Association Branch Davidian Seventh-Day Adventist : The number listed for the group in zUtell has been disconnected There is po listing in Axtell or Waco for Roden Ross Lauterbach of Alvarado treas urer for the Texas Conference of the Seventh-Day Adventists said the Davidians "have no connection with us at all in our organized group" The invective motion replete with expletiveswas signed by Roden who was listed as counsel for the group The State Bar Association Said Roden is not a Texas-licensed attorney Kilgarlin said Texans who are not lawyers are allowed to represent themselves in court but cannot represent other people or entities "We have instructed our executive assistant to investigate and find out who this guy is and whether he's a lawyer or not" Kilgarlin said "Freedom of speech is something that needs to be protected and I'm all for freedom of speech However there is a provision for unauthorized practice of law "As to the language in the motion the remedy of contempt of court is on justices always available" - The group wanted the Supreme Court to reduce the bond required in the organization's tax battle with McLennan County officials Charles Gauer chief appraiser for the McLennan County Appraisal District said the district has granted tax-exempt status for only a portion of the religious group's 60-azre tract near Axtell - "Maybe God will make it up to you in the end and send you herpes and AIDS the seven last plagues" Roden said in the motion that was overruled by the Supreme Court "If you can't get any justice to the poor I pray and hope -the seven last plagues on you and your families and then maybe you will see and feel the misery of the poor and the downtrodden"
