Page 3, Column 2) BICKNELL MINER IS CRUSHED TO DEATH BICKNELL, Ind., Feb. 8.-(Special) -Robert Ronald Walters, 20, Bicknell, was crushed to death late yesterday when caught between two coal cars in the American Mine, No. 2, south of here. He died a few hours later at the the Good Samaritan Hospital, Vincennes. Mr. Walters was a top man at the mine and was clearing the tracks after a car was unloaded. Another car, at the top of the track, broke loose, The miner was caught between them. Examining physicians said he suffered a broken back, crushed hips and internal injuries. He had been working at the mine for a year and a halt. Surviving are the parents, Mr. and Mrs. Romie Walters, south of Bicknell; a brother, Sergt. Eugene Walters, U. S.
