Edna E. McConnell Dies in Canon City Mrs. Edna E. McConnell, of Canon City, died Thursday at her home. She was 89. Born April 13, 1881, in Nebraska, she was married Nov. 12, 1903, to Philip McConnell in Humboldt, Neb. He died in 1959. She had lived in Canon City for six years. She was a Protestant. Survivors include Mrs. Marie Dettman, Canon City; Harlan McConnell, Marysville, Calif.; James McConnell, Pleasant Hill, Calif.; Mrs. Nellie Mendenhall, Canon City; Robert McConnell, Stella, Neb., and Philip M. McConnell Jr., Cozad, Neb. Funeral services and burial arrangements are being handled by Casey Funeral Home, Auburn, Neb. Canon City arrangements were by Holt-Wilson Mortuary.
