The Rev. Bernard C. Clausen D.D., a former Binghamtonian and a well-known Baptist minister, died April 10, 1962 in Philadelphia.Dr. Clausen was the son of the late Dr. and Mrs. Bernard Clausen. He was born in Hoboken, N.J., April 5, 1892. Graduated from Colgate Univ. in 1915, from Union Theological Seminary in 1918 and received his doctor of divinity degree at Syracuse Univ. in 1922. During WWI, he served as a chaplain on the North Carolina, making 26 transatlantic crossings.
