points out that up until five years ago Hillsboro High athletic department show ed a profit annually He is of theopinion that TV popularity has had a detrimental effect on high school game attendance Cost of essential items for par ticipation in athletic contests has risen sharply in the past few years A few of the items which have continued to contribute to the rise in the costs of operation are: An increase in amount required as game guaran tees with other schools raise in officials pay demands increased costs of team travel such as food and transportation increase in costs of uniforms and equipment Cleaning and repair bills have also taken an up swing The principal said that it now costs $200 to out fit a single player for football for one season PLAN ALL SHOOT A trapshoot will be held
