Craig was sentenced in a Tuesday afternoon session in 63rd Judicial District Court. W. T. CARTER Del Rio Native Promoted W. Terrell Carter has been named manager of Salary Administration for Central Power and Light Company in Corpus Christi. Carter has been district traveling auditor in the power company's Gulf Coast District since 1973.

Carter's new duties will include administration of CPL's wage and salary programs throughout the utility's 44- county service area. More than 2,200 men and women in South Texas are employed by CPL which has an annual payroll of more than 131 million. The 29-year-old native of Del Rio began working for CPL at the company's Laredo Power Station during college years at Sul Ross State University in Alpine. He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration there in 1970 and became a full-time employe in the utility company's home office internal auditing section. Carter is married to the former Pamela Lowe of Del Rio.
