Rites Monday for Hampton Man HAMPTON Funeral services! were held Monday afternoon at the Green Funeral Home and at the Alexander Reformed Church for William Phillip Ammerman, 75, who died at the Lutheran Hospital here Friday after an tended illness. The Rev. David M. Beggs, Congregational pastor here, officiated and the Rev. Mr.

VanderWoude, pastor of the Reformed Church, was in charge at Alexander, Burial was at Alexander. Mr. Ammerman was born nearer, Ackley in, Grundy County Jan. 8, 1877, to Caroline and Lupke Ammerman. At the age of 17 he moved with his parents to a farm near Alexander.

Mr. Ammerman was married March .8, 1903, to Carrie Symens. He engaged in farming near Alexander until 1915, when he moved to Alexander and engaged in stock buying. In 1939 he moved to Hampton. Survivors are his wife, a son, Alfred L.

Ammerman, of Hampton; a sister, Mrs. Minnie DeVrie of Breckenridge, two brothers, John of Alexander and George of Goldfield; and two granddaughters, Carolyn of Humpton and Pvt.
