air park Wednesday Several thousand volunteer hours were invested in the restoration of this historical aircraft including a painting to portray the 89th Reconnaissance Squadron assigned to McChord Field It is one of only 38 B-23 Bombers built for the Army Air Corps by Douglas Aircraft Co The McChord Air Museum's B-23 serial number 2722 waa built in 1940 B-23 aircraft were subsequently assigned
