The meeting ended at 1:30 p.m. Open Nightly at the Veterans hospital, whereby a veteran may go to the gift room and select a Christmas gift for his children, wife or parents, without charge. This is the troop's Christmas project. Troop 6 will sing carols throughout the community during the Christmas week. The evening was spent in making favors.

There were 14 girls and their leaders, Mrs. Bill Gartner and Mrs. Angelo Ranchino, present. Mrs. Annie Wcider returned to Troy where she will make her home with her son.

She had been visiting wth her sister, Mrs. K. Gronski, 113 South Eight street. Mr. and Mrs.

W. R. Wollard. both formerly of Herrin and graudates of the Herrin Township high school, and who have been living in Mt. View, have moved to Omaha, where Mr.
