Ronald De Angeles, of Port Richey, formerly of Melrose Park, a Chicago suburb, was indicted by a federal grand jury for understating his taxable 1969 and 1970 income by almost $37,000. Last April, he was found innocent of conspiracy to obtain $1.4 million in loans fraudulently from the Teamsters Central States, Southeast and Southwest Washington (AP) Four cities will embark on an FBI-assisted citizen anticrime program, Director Clarence M. A Circuit Court jury on May 19 convicted Wade of murder. Judge Joseph Cunningham handed down the sentence Tuesday. Rodger, also of East St. Louis, was shot while riding in a car with friends near the city's downtown area. Wade was arrested several days later in Alton on a weapons charge and turned over to East.

The Bartels body was recovered one day later but a month-long dragging operation failed to locate Miss Brooks. Arrested and charged with murder in connection with the killing was Larry A. Whitford of Granite City. Whitford is being held by Madison County authorities in lieu of $100,000 bond, police said. At the time of the killing, police said they were told of the incident by two other youths who were present but were not involved in the stabbings.
