Competition for the beef showmanship trophy was said by Judge Delwin Dearborn Was said to be the roughest with brothers Lome and Roger Tllberg tying for the trophy. Shirley Morrison won the dairy showmanship trophy for the third consecutive year. She wins permanent possession of the trophy which Is given by Armours.

Winner of the trophy for sheep showmanship was Eugene Moneke who has Won it for three successive Moneke, Bill Folkerts, Donald Bowman, Carol McEntee, Darwin Morson, Carolyn Morrison, Karen Morrison, Bobby Sheffield. Judges for events of the day were oyd Bonzer, Extension Service oultryman, South Dakota Stati ollege, for poultry and eggs; Dean tlartln, Extension Service Horticul urlst, SDSC. for garden exhibits Denver Parks, County Extension Agent, Hutchinson County, hand! raft exhibits; Del win Dearborn Associate County Agent, Brookings bounty, judge for the divisions wine, sheep and beef, and Ervti iurtz, Extension Service Dairyman, SDSC, for Winner of the horse showmanship rophy, donated by Leader Hardware, was Judy Foval. Miss Foval was the only purple ribbon winner in the class. Blue ribbons went to Roger Musick, Tim Vann, Elaine Synhorst.

Red winners were Ruby Wlttstruck, Randy Musick, John Kokesh and years. Moneke, only, 15, is young enough to win another trophy be fore he becomes too old to endei 4-H events. The trophy Is given bj Cotton's Jewelry. The trophy for swine showman ship was won by Francis McEntei Wednesday morning. It was hi first win of the trophy donated by Denver Serum.

In final consideration for the beef showmanship trophy were the Tllberg brothers from Ethan, Lome and Roger, Judge Dearborn awarded the trophy to Roger, who repeats his showmanship win of two years ago.
