He was a retired firefighter for the City of San Bernardino, and belonged to the Fireman Association of San Bernardino, member of the Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints. Survived by his wife. Lee; sons, Jim and Richard, both of San Bernardino; daughter, Donna Puttman of Apple Valley; three sisters, Elsie Schoening and Flora Brown, both of San Bernardino, Velma Thompson of Idaho; three grandchildren. FONTANA Reuben C. Harris, 83, a 41-year resident of Fontana, died January 17, 1984. He operated the Fontana Land and Development Co. for 38 years, was Past President of the Chamber of Commerce in Fontana, was Past Chairman of the Planning Commission, Past President of the Realty Board, was a life member of the Elks and a past member of the Board of Directors of the Ontario International Airport. Survivors include two daughters.

Beverly Reif and Sharon Ann Grinceri; brother, Raymond; sister, Mary Thelma Bishop; seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Funeral service 11 a.m Friday in Dickey Mortuary.
