Northern Cal Streams High, Roily, Says Tha warm weather which has extended into the high altitudes of California mountains has increased the runoff from snowpacks, and snow-fed streams are expected to continue flowing with some weekend, stream scouts of Pacific Gas and Electric Company reported today Here is the stream-by-stream outlook: Humboldt County: Lower Trinity muddy; fair catches of small trout at mouth of French Creek, occa sional steelhead taken at mouth of New River. Mad, Eel Rivers muddy at mouths. Mattole clear ing. Some trout taking worms, single eggs at Big Freshwater, 8 Lagoons. Bay salmon fishing spotty.

Trinity County: Main river, large tributaries high, roily. Some limits taken in high, clear water on Little Bear, Big Bear, Soap, Redding (from Cannonball to headwaters), Weaver, Indian Valley, Rush, Manzanita and Price Creeks, and East Fork of the North Fork, where a few steelhead biting. High resorts, lakes still closed. Mendocino-Lake Counties: Warm weather expected to improve con ditiona at Lake Pillsbury and tributaries. Russian River improving In Ukiah area, many fish taking worms, eggs.

Blue Lakes conditions improving. Pit River: Main stream clearing in all sections but still high. Bear Creek dropping. Lakes clearing, should improve. No good catches reported recently, but continued fair weather should help.

Hat Creek spotty, also Baum Lake; Crystal Lake poor. Burney Creek fair. lew bass taken at Lake Britton headwaters. Rock, Montgomery, Kosk and other small streams high, roily. Salmon fly hatch over.
