If students want to catch the bus, they can meet it at its last stop and go from mere if mere is room on the bus, he said. Claire Donaghy Greenwood man faces drug charge From staff reports The Greenwood Sheriff's Department arrested a local man and charged him with drug distribution. Christopher James Tedards, 19, of 1109 Scotchcross Road, was called by undercover officers about buying marijuana. Officers talked to Tedards, who agreed to sell them one-fourth pound of marijuana for $275, reports said. He also agreed to deliver the drugs to a location chosen by the officers, reports said. Tedards reportedly had 113 grams of marijuana and was charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana.

Local genealogical groups to hear from society's state president The Old Edgefield District Genealogical Society and the Old Ninety Six District Genealogical Society are meeting 3 p.m. Sunday at the Firehouse on S.C. 34 (Ninety Six Highway). The speaker for the evening is John Andrews of Harts ville, who is speaking on "Breaking Down Genealogical Brick Walls." Andrews is the current president of the South Carolina Genealogical Society.
