He has studied counterpoint, musical theory and conducting and the psychology of music at San Francisco State College. He recently received a degree from the California Music Teachers' Association, one of the few accordionists to be so honored.

He now is head of the Lou Jacklich Music Enterprises of San Jose. Mrs. Russell Bertelsen, Mr. Ollie Hill, Mrs. J.

H. Johnson and Mrs. Esther Weisert will be tea Members of the Santa Cruz Woman's Club, meeting Thursday at 1 p.m. for their first fall session, will be entertained by Lou Jacklich, accordionist. Mrs.

C. II. Speights will introduce the artist. The musician, who composes music, directs his own orchestra and makes records under the Capitol label, also is a skilled performer on the piano, organ, trumpet, clarinet, saxophone, violin, steel guitar and drums. His combination of talents has been displayed on "The Beverly Hillbillies," "Bonanza" and other television shows.

At the age of 7 Lou Jack Old Timers To Gather October 12 is the date selected by Santa Cruz Old-timers for their annual dinner at Facelli's. This will be the group's 30th anniversary, according to Lew Sco-field who is in charge of arrangements. Louie Facelli will be host to the group. The first get- together, 30 years ago, was at the historic Garibaldi Villa Hotel with a very small informal gathering of oldtim-ers. The event has grown through the years to include more than 100 members and an auxiliary of women who meet for annual luncheons.
