30. An outstanding corn yield of 1.51.SI bushels per acre by Max Haskett corn growing championship of Tipton county "in the 19-12 National Dekalb hybrid corn growing contest. Officials of this biggest corn yield competition reported that.over 12,000 ers from 16 principal corn producing states were entered in this contest in which Haskett scored' so well. The Tipton county runner-up was. Clifton Cardwell of Windfall who had a yield of 133.23 bushels.
