According to a Bowling Green Police Department accident report, the crash happened at 7:07 p.m. at Russellville Road and Campbell Lane. The car, a 2006 BMW, was driven by Jasmir Beganovic, 16, and was carrying Edin Fazlic, 14, and Hadzaga Beganovic, 39, all of Bowling Green.

According to witnesses, Jasmir Beganovic was traveling west on Russellville Road and was attempting to turn left onto Campbell Lane when the BMWcollided with the motorcycle, driven by Ricky L. Woodward, 50, and carrying Donna Kirkland, 51, both of Auburn. The motorcycle had been traveling east on Russellville Road, according to the report.
