The Giant's strong running right halfback has been hobbled by a left knee injury most of the season. He hurt the other knee in last Sunday's 13-10 victory over the Browns. "You know Webster," said coach Ray Shewell and Catherine Wallick paced the men and women's divisions respectively in the weekly practice shoot of the York YMCA Archers last night Shewell posted a score of 762 and Mrs. Wallick scored 706 as a total of 37- competed in the two classes.

And they won't know until the day of the game about the weather. So they have been winterized. Underwear of material developed by the Navy for use in the arctic was issued. And they practiced in basketball sneakers instead of football cleats in case the ground is frozen. Coach Weeb Ewbank says his practice plans don't include oep talks.

Some people thought they might since the Colts lost their last two games in California after wrapping up the Western conference title. say, whether he would prefer to play the Browns or Giants. And he has ordered the Colt players to keep the same silence. He figures any opinion rmght be turned into a psychological boomerang. The Colts are pretty well up on the Giants, having played them three times this season.

They beat them twice in exhibitions and then lost 24-21 Nov. 9 in their regular league meeting. The Colts and Browns have played once since Baltimore returned to the NFL in 1953. That was in 1956, and the Colts came out on top 21-7. A Colt scout watched Cleveland in its last two games and the entire coaching staff will be watching Sunday's playoff game in New York.

Pat Summerall, the hero of last Sunday's game with his 49-yard, game-winning field goal, hasn't been able to practice kicking all week due to a leg Don Chandler, the club's fine punter, has been working in SummeraH's place as a field goal kicker. Chandler will kick off but it is hoped Summerall will be ready for the placements. 1 Howell sent the Giants through a one-hour drill yesterday, touching on all phases of attack and defense and climaxing with work on the goal line defense.

They will do nothing more than limber up briefly tomorrow morning. Cleveland was due to fly in this morning and planned to loosen up at the stadium, at 2 p.m. Howell said the field was in "pretty good shape" considering the snow of a week ago. The weatherman predicted a clear, cold day with a high of about 24 degrees for the playoff to see which team will be the host to the Dec. 28 league championship game with the Baltimore Colts.

All reserved seats were sold in mid-week. Whether the crowd goes to 63,000 as it did last week or 72,000 capacity depends on the gate sale of bleachers seats and standing room Sunday morning. A total of 12,000 bleachers seats and about 5,000 standing room tickets are available. In case the score is tied four quarters the game will continue on a sudden death basis. The first team to score will win.

Television (CBS) will carry the game to all corners of the nation except for a blackout of the New York area. Game time is 2 p.m. (EST). Colts Preparing Baltimore UP) The Baltimore Colts are preparing for a triple-header: The Cleveland Browns, New York Giants and the cold weather. Fish Commission Reports Poisoning At Research Station Bellefonte UP) The State Fish Commission yesterday reported another fish poisoning at its experimental station and production hatcheries on Spring Creek, near Bellefonte.

The commission estimated that 225,000 trout were growing in the Benner Spring research station involved in the poisoning. Three crews of fish commission workers endeavored to remove live fish from the polluted area to other hatchery areas. So far no source of the poisoning has been found, said William L. Voigt, executive director of the commission. He added, however, that indications were there was a shortage of oxygen in the water that may have stemmed from sewage pollution.

A similar fish kill occurred several weeks ago at the same hatchery. No estimate of the total number of fish could be made pending transfer of the lave Copper Bowl Football Game On.
