Hazleton Standard-Speaker, Wednesday, December 4, 1991 23 Julia Yoo top performer atMMI Hazleton High School Honor Roll ophone as he played musical examples ranging from marches to swing; Rozvita Gabric, MMI exchange student from Croatia, whose American hosts are Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Kralik, Moun-taintop, who contrasted the education system in her homeland with that in the United States; Allen Pachence, son of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Pachence, Hazleton, who explained palmistry as he read some fictitious palms; and Steven Silberg, son of Mrs.

Carol Silberg, Hazleton, and David Silberg, Freeland, who eulogized Dr. Seuss. The performers also received trophies. The next Best of the Best is scheduled for March 20. The first of two scheduled Best of the Best Assemblies was recently held at MMI Preparatory School.

The five performers had previously been judged outstanding by the faculty in their regularly scheduled assemblies. The winner was Form II performer Julia Yoo, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Young Kul Yoo, Hazleton, who explained the way in which a violin is constructed and then performed on the instrument. Julia received a trophy and a gift certificate.

Other performers were Boyd Bower, son of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Bower, Drums, who related the history of the sax Dennis Wenner, Kimberly Wizda, Paul Yanac.
