Salvation Army Cadets To Hold Troy Meetings Nine cadets, students in the Salavation Army's Training College of New York City, will visit Troy Saturday to remain for the weekend and conduct the services at the Troy Salvation Army Temple. Saturday at 8 p.m. the cadets will present musical program and on Sunday they will conduct at Vanderheyden Hall at i a.m., and the services at the temple at 10 a.m. Three open air meetings will be conducted in the afternoon and the regular weekly meeting will be held At 7 p.m. on Franklin Square.

The cadets will be accompanied by Major and Mrs. Charles Talmadge, faculty members of the training college. School Children See Play At Lansingburg The last of a series of plays sponsored by the Lansingburg Council of Parents and Teachers for pupils of Lansingburg schools was presented today at Knickerbacker Junior High School. The production, "Hans Clodhopper," was given by the Salome Gaynor Theater Group which has presented plays earlier in the school year. New officers of the Lansing- burg Council will be presented at a tea and meeting tomorrow at 3:30 p.m.

(AP) The executive board of the Oregon College League of Young Republicans has endorsed Philip Hitchcock for Republican nomination to the Senate over Secretary of the Interior Douglas McKay. It was the first primary election endorsement by the league and reversed an earlier decision --reached before candidates filed --ro stay out of the primaries.

Hitchcock, a member of Portland's Lewis and Clark College development staff, is opposed for ths nomination by McKay and two other lesser known candidates. Sen.
