have any right, title, estate, equity, lien, easement, or interest of any kind or nature in the following described tracts, of land: YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED that a Complaint in condemnation has heretofore been filed in the office of the Clerk of the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania, in the U.S. Court House, Scranton, in an action to condemn the following estates and easement: (a)The fee simple title to Tracts Nos. 106, 114, 122, 123, 124, 125, 128, 129, 130, 131, 136, 137, 140, and 141; subject; to Legal existing easements for public roads and highways, public utilities, railroads, and pipe lines; reserving to the owner or the owners of any interest therein, including third lessees, their heirs, successors and assigns, all gas in and under said land with full rights of ingress and egress for exploration, development and removal of gas which may be produced From or stored in said land; provided that the said rights so reserved are subordinated to the prior right of the United States to flood and submerge the land as may be necessary in the con struction, operation, and maintenance of the Kettle Creek Dam and Reservoir Project, and provided that the exercise of such rights shall be subject to Federal and State laws with respect to pollution of the waters of the reservoir and provided further that the District Engineer, U.S. Army Engineer District, Baltimore, Maryland, or his duly authorized representative shall approve in furtherance of the exploration, development, storage of such reserved interests the type and.location of any structures ap- purtenances thereto now ex isting or to be erected or con structed in connection with Ltgal Tuesday, May 10, Lock Haven, County of Clinton, Common Wealth of Pennsylvania, bounded and described as follows: THE ARM 1 SURE IS you OFTEN HAVE" THE OLP ANP THE NEW, SIPE BY SIPE HERE WE HAVE TWO SYMBOLS OF IS RAW, UNTAMEP PRUTE FORCE-THE OTHER REFINEP, ALMOST WHAT'S SO NOBLE ABOUT ME? Glass and land of George S.

Cross, et and being the common corner between land now or formerly of Emanuel F. Ventura, et and land of George B. Kunkle, et thence from the aforesaid point of beginning and binding said Cross land and land now or formerly of Harry 0. Scrimshaw, et 12' Iff 15" 545.31 feet to land now or formerly of Earl W.

Summerson, et thence binding said Summerson land, as follows: (1) 17' 20" 2013.00 feet, (2) 10' 15" 545.31 feet to the aforesaid Kunkle land; thence binding said Kunkle land 88' 17' 2013.00 feet to the point or place of beginning. TRACT NO. 141 A certain tract or parcel of land situate in the Township ol Leidy, County of Clinton, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, bounded and described as follows: BEGINNING" at a corner in a northwesterly boundary of land of an unknown owner and being.the common corner between land now or formerly of Delos C. Schoonover, et and land of Wellington W. Glass; thenco from the aforesaid point of beginning and binding said Schoonover land 19' 07' 40" 1972.78 feet to land now or formerly of Amos Goodman, et thence binding said land as follows: M) 30" 693.00 feet, (2) 88" 17' 20" 265.39 feet to a point; thence leaving said Goodman land and running over and across the aforesaid unknown owner land as follows: (1) 24" 05' 20" 192.11 feet, (2) 46' 45" 1014.01 feet, (3) 20' 37' 40" 507.71 feet, (4) 26' 40" 895.74 feet, (5) 58' 25" 494.21 feet, (6) 41' 4R" 162.97 feet to another tract of land of an unknown owner; thence binding said land 88" 30" 40" 387.47 feet to the southeasterly corner of the aforesaid land of Wellington W. The authority for the taking Is the Act of Congress approved February 26. 1931 '46 Stat. 1421, 40 U.S.C. 258a), and acts supplementary thereto and amendatory thereof, and under the further authority of the Acts of Congress approved April 24, 1888 Stat. 94, 33 U.S.C.

591), and March 1, 1917 (39 Stat. 948, 33 U.S.C. 701). which authorize the acquisition of land for flood control projects: and the Act of Congress approved September 3, 1954 (Public Law 780-83rd Congress), which act authorizes the construction of the Kettle Creek Dam and Reservoir Project; and the Act of Congress approved September 2, 1958 'Public Law 85-863), which act appropriated funds for such purposes. You are further notified that if you have any objection or defense to the taking of your property you are required to serve your answer on the plaintiff's attorney at the address herein designated within 20 days after May 10, 1960.
