November 24,1974 Swiss Bliss Unemployment rose in Switzerland last month. The Swiss government announced that 92 people were out of jobs, up nine from the 1974 monthly average. That makes the Swiss unemployment rate less than .004 per cent, compared with the current United States rate of 6 per cent. Switzerland is one of the world's most industrialized nations. Because of this, the tiny country has more jobs than the Swiss can fill.

Workers imported from other nations make up about one-fifth of the labor force in Switzerland.
