13 Three cancer patients in the United States will be treated about the end of October with an American-made anti -cancer extract like that made in Russia and popularly known as the KR anti-cancer serum. This was announced at the International Cancer Congress here. The material for treatment was made from germs of deadly South American Chagas' disease, according to the Russian prescription by Dr. William M. Malisoff of New York.

Dr. Malisoff is a Ph.D., and the treatment will be given by physicians. Qualified scientists and physicians representing the American Cancer Society and other agencies have been invited to observe the work. The patients to be treated have already been selected. Maybe if Mr. Bullock weren't a fatalist he would have been more imaginative and catapulted himself to the top of the writing fraternity.

MLss Leslie uses "Repeat Performance" to become a free-lance actress, and that isn't as satisfying as it sounds, either. For the role she took in this Eagle-Lion film isn't much better than the roles she refused to take from Warner Bros. She is merely another unhappy screen wife who, for no obvious reason, puts up with a shiftless and drunken husband who makes no secret of his philandering.
