BUCKS COUNTY WATERS, SEWER AUTHORITY HM2 NOTICE PUBLIC NOTIFICATION Tailgate Crossing, Richland Township, Bucks County NOTICE In accordance with Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection regulations, Section 71 of PA Code, Title 25, Act 537, Richland Township, Bucks County is accepting comments, in writing, for the next thirty (30) days on the Revision to the Richland Township Sewage Facilities Plan Public Notices II Public Notices (the "Act 537 for the proposed residential development known as Tollgate Crossing on 65.7 acres and is proposed to be served by public sewer and water. The site is located at 580 Tollgate Road with frontage on Tollgate and Yankee Roads, Richlond Township, Bucks County. The development will consist of 30 proposed lots to be developed with single family homes. Utilizing the Township's cluster zoning option, the remaining fifty percent of the tract will remain open space.

The project site is comprised of Bucks County Tax Map Parcels 36013-024 and 36-013-034. The proposed method of sewage disposal is via the public sewer collection and conveyance facility owned and operated by Richland Township and Bucks County Water end Sewer Authority. Sewage flows will be discharged and treated at the Borough of Quakertown's waste water treatment facility. The development is currently located outside the public sewer service area for Richland Township and Bucks County Water and Sewer Authority. The entire proiect proposes a sewage flow of 7,500 gallons per day (GPD).

The proiect has wetland encroachments for purposes of a foot bridge crossing for which General Permit Registrations No. 7 is currently under review by the PA Depart- ment of Environmental Protection. The Pennsylvania Natural Diversity Inventory (PNDI) search indicated that there are potential conflicts with ecological resources of special concern within the specified search area. The potential conflicts have been resolved by the appropriate agencies. In addition to the ecological concerns, the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission indicated that there is a high probability that archaeological resources exist in the proposed area.

Although there are no recorded archaeological sites within the proiect area, if any archaeological resources ore encountered during construction the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission will be notified to determine the significance of the resources which were encountered. A Phase I survey is recommended, but not required.
