Dr. McElroy is the editor or author of four books, serves on the editori- al boards of medical journals and has authored more than 150 reviews and chapters in major psychiatric textbooks. Dr. McElroy has received numer- ous honors including being recog- nized among the Best Mental Health Experts by Good Housekeeping Mag- azine; Best Doctors in America, and, as one of Top Psychiatrists, by the Consumer Research Council. Additionally, she has received a num- ber of national awards for her teach- ing and research She completed her residency in psychiatry at McLean Hospital in Bel- mont, Massachusetts and her intern- ship in internal medicine at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital in New York City.

Her bachelorette degree is from Colgate University (Hamilton, NY) and she earned her MD from Cornell University Medical College (New York City, NY). Lindner Center of HOPE in Mason is a comprehensive mental health center providing patient-centered, advanced care for indi- viduals with mental illness. Each Memory Box was original work paint- ed by a GCDA member artist. The box- es were given to Hospital for parents to have a special place for keepsakes of their child. Emily Stamm is the 2018 GCDA Service Project coordinator.

Each year the Greater Cincinnati Decorative Artists have a community service project where members paint and do- nate their artwork to a select organi- zation. Hospital is the 2018 recipient of Memory Boxes. Sara Coyle said that Hospital was very thankful for the do- nation of the boxes and impressed with the quality work of each artist.
