M. C. annual Free Swimming Campaign, which will open at the local Y. pool on June 10. In past years, the New Castle Y.

M. C. A. has tried to get more boys interested in the campaign, and the registration has grown each year. This year is expected to prove no exception and a great many youths of the city who do not know how to swim are expected in the class.

The Y. M. C. A. realizes that half the pleasure of a boy's life is to learn how to swim and enjoy himself in cool refreshing waters.

If a boy does not learn how to swim when he has the opportunity, the possibility is that he will never learn later in life. No other sport is a beneficial from a health standpoint, as swimming. Swimming brings more muscles into play than most any other sport, and because of the deep breathing involved, it is unexcelled in stimulating and developing lung capacity. While taking instruction, the boys will be under the supervision of the most competent instructors in the city, who know and realize the needs of a real American boy. There is a coupon in this issue of The News which the boys can cut out and bring or send to the Y.

The church was filled to capacity with parents and friends of the seniors and members of the congregation. The pastor, Dr.

Rev. McClure explained that some people live down through the ages with good names, and others with bad ones. He said that those with good reputations are exceedingly fortunate Through four ways he said a good name might be acquired, and these he said are first, wisdom; second, work; third, words, and fourth worship. Rev. McClure dwelt on each, saving in the end that without worship.

without confession in Christ, the good name striven for would never be acquired. In closing he urged each to keep their good names and pleaded for each to strive for an even better one.
