Tennis Program Lists Winners The Town of Hamburg sum Town Playgrounds End '82 Season The Town of Hamburg Recreation Department finished its seventh and final week of playground activities last. Friday, with total attendance for the week 4,823.

Each playground provided various activities, special events and contests for the area children. Lyth Playground held a talent show contest this week on the playground. Danielle Zupkov, who is 4 years old won a first place ribbon for her hoola-hoop act. Second place ribbons "were given to a group called the "Go-Go's." The members of the "Go-Go's" were Ellen and Sue Chorazack, Jennifer DiaPaul, and Karen Kuhl. Two acts tied for 3rd place.

Dan DiaPaul and Chuck Wilkening did a cowboy act. Nicole Zupkov and Julie. DiaPaul were Cheerleaders. Fairway Gardens playground won the South District Championship game on Wednesday, August 11. The team had a four wins and one loss record.

The players consisted of boys and girls between the ages of 12-15 years. Mohr Scores Eagle In Golf Tourney Joan Mohr scored an eagle on the 3rd hole, a 425 yard Par 5, by chipping in 65 feet away on her 3rd shot in the recent low gross, low net tourney of the Hamburg Women's Golf Club at the Town Links. Low gross winners were: Class Kathy O'Connor: Class Linda DeKay, Nancy Beuttner, Mary Giles: Class C. Bev Findley: Class Joanne Eckman and Dolores Weber.

Horse Show Aids Child Rehab Center A "Funfest II" to benefit Children's Rehabilitation Center will be held Aug. 29th at, the Erie County Fairgrounds sponsored by the Troika Half-Arabian Horse Association, Inc. The gate donation of $1.00 will go-directly to Children's Rehab Satellite Telethon for 1983, last year the event raised $200.
