"The Star," largest South African evening paper, in an editorial headed "Race Smear," condemns Fouche's raising of a groundless fl Anti-Jewish Ruling in Transvaal Provokes Protests JOHANNESBURG (JTA) A minor incident in Transvaal Town Council involving the reputation of the Union of Jewish Women of South Africa, is provoking stormy protests here by Jewish organizations and is being Dr. Harry Prudowsky Dr. Harry Prudowsky, 51, a Milwaukee physician, died of a heart attack Friday, Dec. 20, at his home at 5032 N. Ardmore Whitefish Bay.

Dr. Prudowsky was born in Russia and was brought to Milwaukee by his parents in 1912. He was a graduate of North Division high school, and Marquette university and its medical school. He entered private practice in 1936. His office was at 5201 W.

Tuesday in the Goodman-Bens-man funeral home. Burial was in Anshai Lebowitz cemetery. Abraham Saichek Abraham Saichek, 73, of 2803 N. 52nd died Monday, Dec. 23, of heart failure in Milwaukee Jewish Convalescent Hospital.

He never fully recovered from a stroke he suffered a year and a half ago. Mr. Saichek was born in Russia and came to Milwaukee in 1900. From about 1930 to 1953, he worked as a novelty advertising salesman. From 1940 to 1950, he operated a concession stand at the lake front.

He retired in 1953. He was a member of Congregation Beth Jehudah, the Milwaukee Jewish Convalescent Hospital and a charter member and past president of Congregation Beth Hamedrosh Hagodel. He is survived by his wife, Lib-by; two sons, Dr. Herbert, Omaha, and Dr. Robert, Fox Point; a brother.
