Davis enjoyed a doggie roast at the home of Miss Sara Bishop Monday night. Richard Crosby, Lansdowne, was a week-end of his parents, Mr, and Mrs. George Crosby. Funeral services for Alfred O. Keene, a former resident of this place, were held from his late home near Downingtown Monday afternoon.

The service was conducted by the Rev. D. Rankin Stewart, pastor of Fairview Presbyterian church. The pall bearers were Frank Henderson, George Crosby, Lewis Clayton, Earl Moore, Harvey Krauser and Ray Sheeler. Interment was made in the Fairview Presbyterian cemetery.

There was a large attendance of relatives and friends and many beautiful flowers. Mr. and Mrs. Guy Johnson and son, Towerville, and Mr. and Mrs.

Warren Yocum, Downingtown, were Sunday guests of Mr, and Mrs Harvey Yocum. Mr, and Mrs. G. Paul Benner and Mrs. A.

and Mrs. Calvin Eck, Emmaus, and Vernon and Grace Markley and Warren R. Schanley, Pennsburg, are expected home from their trip to Oklahoma soon. Mr. and Mrs.

Albert Demaree, Washington, D. were guests in the home of Mrs. parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Jackson.

Mrs. Stanley H. Snyder visited in Allentown Saturday. Miss Kathryn Buchert spent the week-end in Ephrata, Mr. and Mrs.
