Waco Tribune Gerald Page 2-Sec. Waco, Texas Sunday, August 1, 1954 Jack Bird, Ex-Wacoan, Wed in Dallas First Baptist Church, Dallas, was scene of the wedding of a former Wacoan, Jack Bird, and Miss Ruth Inglis Saturday evening. Among the guests were the bridegroom's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank E.

Bird, 1922 Cumberland Avenue. Dr. W. A. Criswell, pastor, performed the ceremony in the church's Embree Hall.

The bride, of Mr. and Mrs. Tom daughter Inglis of Sulphur Springs, was given in marriage by her father. She wore 8 ballerina-length dress of white lace and tulle with a brief lace jacket. Heratin: veil of illusion was held in gertip place by a pearl tiara.

She carried 8 bouquet of white roses and stephanotis. Mrs. Charles Meers of Dallas was matron of honor and Misses Carlyn Fouts and Dorothy Myers were bridesmaids. They wore ballerina-length dresses of bride's blue and carried cascade crystallette, rosy-pink asters. Edgar Peteet of Shreveport was best man.
