1881, In Ayr, son of William Washington and Harriet Ellen Wilson MeDonald. He married Anna Marie Sorensen, Jan. 18, 1905, in Hastings, Mr. McDonald was a member of Hastings Lodge 50, and A for 50 years, and was a past patron of Tintie- Chapter 18, Order of EastJern Star, at Eureka. Until his retirement a few years ago, he was a merchant, postmaster and fruitgrower in Elberta.

As a young and during World War Il, he was a telegraph operator with Western Union Co. He also had been employed in the office of Tintie Standard Mining Co. at Dividend, Utah. for more than 10 years. He is survived by his widow, Elberta: a daughter, Mrs.

Floyd M. Oberle, Salt Lake City; two children, and one brother, A. McDonald, Chandler, Ariz. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 1 p. m.

In the Elberta LDS Ward Chapel. Masonic rites will be conducted by Eureka Lodge No. 8. Friends may call tonight from to 9 p. m.

at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Archie Hicks; 528-2nd Salt Lake City, of causes incident to age. Mr. Allred WAS born March 30, 1865, in Salt Lake City, a son of James Franklin and Jennie MeKenzie Allred, and was the last survivor of their 10 sons and daughters, Reared in Wallsburg, Wasatch County, he helped to pioneer Ashley Valley in the Uintah Basin, living at Vernal. He had lived for seven years in Provo, before moving to Salt Lake City last year.

On April 6, 1887, he married Margaret L. Camp in Grand Junction, the marriage later being solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. The couple were recently honored at family reunion on their 66th wedding anniversary at which 90 members of their family were present. Graveside services will be conducted Saturday at 2 p. m.

He has been prominent in several extra curricular school ties, the most important of them being sports. He lettered in basketball, football and track for three consecutive years. This he was co-captain of the basketball team and at present he is member of the baseball team. Jimmie was junior high president and a graduate of the Sharon Seminary. He is secretary of the Cor Unum club of Lincoln.

He has been active in forensics and received superior rating in the regional meet and an excellent rating in the state forensic meet. She Was member of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers. Survivors Include her husband, Heber; eight of their nine sons and daughters, Joseph Buys Cummings and Mrs. George W. (Sophia) Langford, Heber: Mrs. Marion (Nola) Fletcher, Park City; Wallace, Monroe, and Douglas Cummings, Washington Terrace, Ogden and Mrs.

Boyd (Celestia) Duke and Mrs. Mono (Phyllis) Teeples of Salt Lake CIty; 15 grandchildren, two of whom she reared, Mrs. Joseph, (Joann) Bourgeois, New York, and Brigham Young, Kamas; six great-grandchildren and the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Amanda Shelton, Mrs. Monroe (Martha) Giles, Mrs.

Teachers Until Later On SALT LAKE CITY, (UP)- Salt Lake City school teachers apparently will not be offered contracts for the 1953-54 school year until some time after the close of the present school term.
