Monday, May 10, 1965 WEATHER: Sunny, Tery wirm, iwnid. iJiMLui el) HI il JJ (Tmfe Hfar 61 if- .7 1 eaiayy Gras A-t Sea Carole Tyler, 26, the Tennessee beauty queen who was a central figure in U.S. Senate's -investigation of "wheeler-dealer Bobby Baker, crashed into the Atlantic Ocean yesterday in a private plane about 200 yards offshore of Baker's fashionable Carousel Motel. Carole was flying with Robert H.

Davis, 43, the owner and pilot of the single engine biplane. boats that reached the scene shortly after the crash said there was- no sign of the plane or its occupants. The ocean i3 more than 20 feet deep at that point. Carole, who has been working as Baker's personal secretary in a Washington law firm, was reported to have been staying at the motel, as was Davis.
