WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 3, 1966 Corriher Advances In Tourney CONCORD Corriher Mills of Landis continues to hold a spotless record in the Piedmont District Slow Pitch softball tournament after scoring a 5-3 victory over First Union National Bank of Kannapolis in the feature game of five staged Tuesday night. The win enabled the Landis club to move into the bracket semi-finals. The Landis Lutherans knocked Clothing of Kannapolis out of the tourney by posting a 6-4 victory, while Jackson Park Methodist bowed out of the meet after losing a 10-1 decision to the Concord Boys Club. Southside Amoco of Concord dumped Midland by a 9-? margin and and Construction of Concord eliminated Coggins Motors of Salisbury.
